OM603 out of chicago should have a block heater. Gump, the w115 came with
factory cord and was originally from that city. Maybe the guy has no idea how
to start a diesel in the cold.

There is this weird socket on the battery cover panel in the trunk of
the SL600. It looks like a light socket of some sort. Trying to figure
out what it was for, the wires to it were missing. I found some other
loose wires that looked like they went to a fuse block that got knocked

stated my 240D in single digits without block heater with valves adjusted

Nice! I was rather disappointed with the show here, only stayed up until a
little after midnight. Moon had some red, but it wasn't as nice as the event we
saw last summer in Italy, nor an event back when I was in college.
