This thing’s a monster. The NHC just issued an update, saying that there are
now maximum sustained winds of 175 mph and gust to 200 mph. Nothing will be
left standing after that passes over. It will be like a giant lawn mower.
I would not want to be on Great Abaco or anywhere in the northern Bah
I’m thinking I need to get the boards out tomorrow and start that process. Bah.
Even if it is offshore when it passes we’ll still get hammered with winds and
the waves will be monstrous and the tidal surge will be very high. Ugh.

I tried to get the wrecked $500E300 started yesterday and today. 2
batteries in parallel and the charger on "start" mode. It has 2 bad
glow plugs, so it sometimes takes a bit of a crank to get it to light
off. It acted several times like it wanted to get going but just
wouldn't do it. The ho

I'll wait another couple days before thinking about boarding up. If it passes
by off shore, we'll be on the weaker side, so I'm still inclined to carry on
the normal routine.
