I would have questions as to how they determined that your rear shocks were bad. Shocks are rarely replaced on MBs, they can often go for 200k and still work properly. If you want to be exact, check the part numbers on the front wheels and do an eBay search for them. Or, see if you can find a r

For r107 I went with General Altimax H rated as alternative to Vredstein V rated. Same works well for w115 as well as the w126 SDL/SD. I did one SDL in cheep cheep chinee rubber that was AMAZING in Montana blizzard at midnight coming and going a few years back. Probably anomalous in extreme,
