No need... the car already has ASD (the hydraulic, 100%-lock diff) and they say it has survived thus far. Seriously, they don't blow rear ends like popcorn, like you'd think. I suspect it's because there's not a huge amount of torque off-idle, which is where peak G's are on a V8 gasser,
