I'm about to replace the thermostat on my little buddy 190d 2.2 manny Billy won't warm up past 50c. I call him billy because he climbes like a goat, this being my first diesel (I'm hooked already) I'm amazed how hard it is to lug him down, I've done lots of t-stats on Detroit v8s right up front

I just ran over and took a look at this SL, looks good But I'd have to find/put engine in I guess, probably not worth the hastle but I like the six and the bumpers on a euro. I figure 3k or less for the car, and $2500 for another engine installed 5-5.5k for a sweet little SL for the summer.
