Last I knew electrolux owned the whirly pool.    A former student of mine worked for whirly pool in Jefferson, IA when the company was bought by electrolux.   I had thought whirly was much larger than a vacuum cleaner company, but I guess not, on worldwide terms. Rick Knoble via Mercedes
