My '76 300D owners manual lists disk wheels for both the 240D and the 300D with:
5 ½ X 14 with 175 SR 14 tires on the 240D and 6 X 14 with 185 HR 14
tires on the 300D. The exploded view parts book also only shows steel
wheels.
The EPC doesn't list the option codes for my old car, and only shows

anybody know for sure if the 115's, more specifically, the 115 300D
could be ordered with alloy wheels, or were all 115's with steel wheels
and hub caps? I know the standard equipment was the steel wheels but I
want to know if
Both of my '76 300D 115 cars came with alloys -- now I didn't buy the
cars new, but I doubt that both POs did an after market switch --

Yea, OK. That sounds reasonable, but I still would like to hear from

I could have sworn that they were all alloys, and some were in the
Bundt shape, and others looked like standard wheels and came with
hubcaps. Reason I thought they were all alloy was because they felt
so light compared to my 14 steel wheels on my Civic.

no, they were not back then, about 81 up they were alloys with hubcaps.
