On a more serious note, the mechanical development during that era was
truly amazing. There were some giants of mechanical

Funny that you mention this - I saw a “for sale” listing on PP (I think)
yesterday for a complete “bagger” system for a W126 chassis car. The guy
apparently bugged the heck out of a manufacturer to make a system for the W126,
which after some time they did, and this guy apparently bought one.
I just signed up to the page under my fakebook name so will start
posting some stuff like that

Hmm. I haven’t noticed that - yet. I’ve been pretty outspoken about a few
things while acknowledging that others have their approach as well, and that
seems to keep things somewhat defused.
That being said, I haven’t seen a lot of overt instances of denigration.

through a filter or something to save on oil changes?
Second idea: Could I reuse the motor oil from my

It comes up about every other week. I have already given them the facts on that
many times. Soon we will see posts about engines with no compression suddenly.

From what I’ve gleaned during my short tenure in the group, it would appear
that there is a small subset of members who have serious rectal-cranial
inversions, while the rest of the members are pretty decent, rational folk.

much or as little as I need ... just need to make it safe to burn ... also if
