Talked to Firestone and they said that the SD currently has (and should have) 205/70/14 and that I could put on 205/70/15 - both have overall diameter of 26.3 inches - so no change in speedo, etc. You are spec-ing 205/65/15. Will 70's work? They've been working for the last 35,000 miles, but per

You are assuming that the actual tire diameter matches the spec given by the "size". I have seen examples of the same size tire from different manufacturers placed side-by-side, and have seen up to an inch in diameter difference. Have Firestone SHOW you that they are the same, or just buy the prope
