Wheel size: 7Jx15 H2 offset (ET) is 25, tires 205/65/15
and will work great on your 300SD.

Talked to Firestone and they said that the SD currently has (and should have)
205/70/14 and that I could put on 205/70/15 - both have overall diameter of

How in the world is the same width and aspect ratio going to not be 1" larger
on a 15" wheel?

You are assuming that the actual tire diameter matches the spec given
by the "size". I have seen examples of the same size tire from
different manufacturers placed side-by-side, and have seen up to an
inch in diameter difference.
Have Firestone SHOW you that they are the same, or just buy the prope
