You probably have a block heater--just not the cord. Check on the
passenger side of the engine--about where the block heater is on a
240D. There may be a plastic cap on the block heater--you just need to
buy the cord from Rusty. I had to do that on two 190Ds.

The thing I didn't see and haven't seen anywhere yet is a block heater. The block heater on my 240D has been a savior many times
