Curt-- You probably have a block heater--just not the cord. Check on the passenger side of the engine--about where the block heater is on a 240D. There may be a plastic cap on the block heater--you just need to buy the cord from Rusty. I had to do that on two 190Ds. Ron Dwelle On Dec 5, 200
