after the RustyQ in GA & the IowaQ.

An AZQ sounds fun, an Okie Q makes sense.
I’m thinking an Okie Q would evolve into an intervention where we all would be
organizing Kaleb’s stuff that see adrift in each Okie picture. We’d be grabbing
the weed wackers, heading out to the edges of Okieland to uncover cars he
forgot he had. We’d
we will miss you & your family Jaime.

We need to set up a “West Coast Q”, or “Arizona Q”, Bob. If we had it at my
place in Flagstaff there would be plenty of room, or we could do it at any one
of the beautiful county parks in the area. And I would make sure that the
former owner wouldn’t come running out threatening to jab a screwdr
Well, Mrs. Bob just informed me that the bridal shower for the impending
nuptials of youngest girl is on September 10th. Drat.
It looks like my first Q will be next year.
Maybe I’ll have a Q worthy vehicle by then.

Unfortunately we're not going to make it this year. It seems family and
friends have other plans for us as we've got a wedding and anniversary
party the same weekend.
Have fun and see you next year!

It's fun for a while. After two breakdowns, and nearly hitting a car at a
crossing, and then having to wait for a new train because they put flat spots
on the wheels trying to brake for the car, and then Amtrak forgetting to
transfer baggage to the new train, it stopped being fun.

Yeah, I’ve seen them come through Flagstaff 18 hours late, sometimes more, but
typically in the 3-5 hour (late) range is pretty common.
When freight has priority over passenger traffic, you’re going to be sitting on
a siding a lot of the time. The eastbound (#4, Southwest Chief) coming through
If not days. I took Amtrak once in my life, was nearly 48 hours late, never
again.

Take an early train or go the day before. I watch the Amtraks going through

For a more interesting trip you could take the train from Chicago, there are a
couple stops in MA or you could also grab a train to PVD, we could arrange to
pick you up...

I suppose I need to get to my first. Maybe we’ll drive to Illinois for my
dad’s 86th on August 22, then mosey over to Rhode Island. THEN I would have to
decide what to drive (new Subaru or the Passat TDI).
So many decisions…
