Yes, I had to drill two holes through each of the frame-type rails, up
through into the spare tire/medical kit wells on each side--the
sheetmetal is multi layers thick right there. The two holes in the
body (between the aforementioned wells and third seat footwell) on the
top side already exist,

(I think it's factory) riding around in t e back of my
trunk (300td) It came with the car and I've never put
it on!

Folks,
I finally found a hitch for my 300TD 1982. BUT it turns out to be from
a euro bumper car. It sits too high for the US spec bumper.
Temporarily, I think I'll hang the euro bumper on but I guess I'll be
manufacturing 300td receiver hitches for us bumper cars.
So, how many of you
