I haven't been following this too closely but I don't remember seeing if
anyone actually pulled the valve covers and actually checked the cam timing
to see if it was off. I've just read about

I actually have a set of head that were completely rebuilt and had about
40k on them before a rod let go. I also have a set of euro heads as
well but dont know how many miles are on them.
