Isn't pot metal the reason 3D printers were invented? super glue the broken pieces together, take a 3D photo - convert it to a CAD drawing, print out the piece in wax, take it to your local foundry, and have them cast it in something other than pot metal ;-) (See the video on Jay's garage) On Sa
