As does disabling EGR. Not that I've done either (I prefer my Benzes to run as designed) but the rules - at least in NC - cover all OEM emissions equipment. I would wonder even if you completely removed (as opposed to disabling internally) them in the '75/'76s whether anyone could catch it,
