Yeah I looked into that, you need to count the number of teeth on the
gears in there, apparently they used different gearsets in different (or
maybe even the same) years. If I recall a gear set was like $70, some
guy decided to make them after having problems, so it is a fairly
limited market
Same problem, more or less. There are a couple plastic gears that
break. There are some write=ups on the web for repair, parts are
fairly expensive but available.

this one.
