The models don’t agree on 3+ days out. One shows it going south, making
landfall around Miami, the other swinging north. If either one works out we’ll
miss it for the most part and just get wind and rain.
At least that’s what I’m hoping for. If not, Saturday the storm shutters go up.

My buddy and I are going out this weekend to deploy our water monitoring gear
to get some good data from a large storm event. We have 4 probes to place.

(Charleston). New moon perigean high tides Last night there were lots
of streets flooded in town, will be worse tonight. Latest models
showing 20+" rainfall predictions for the coast and here, we will still
be in higher tide mode
Glad you're part of it to keep it real, avoid any "The sea is rising
because Trump!" nonsense.

Well the sea is rising around here, but it started happening before
Trump, so there's that...
It's actually due to a very slight slowdown of the Gulf Stream, you can
do the homework on why that has happened...
