My speedo cable is whining. I've ignored it in other cars, but this one is REALLY LOUD and sometimes goes for 20 minutes before shutting up. Is the procedure just to pull the gauges, disconnect the speedo cable and put a few drops of something like motor oil in the cable? I've been using M1
