One of my former work associates bought a repoed 2020 GT-R. He had it for about
a month when it got firebombed in his driveway one night. Long story short,
thanks to his driveway camera, turns out it was the guy from whom the car was
repoed. Said guy is cooling his heels in the pokey still.

I drove behind an E320CDI yesterday. It looks small. How does its size

Yes, but I think it will be happier when the new fuel becomes
available. The new stuff seems to be closer to what's sold
in Europe.

I'm certainly no luddite - I've had a computer since 1982 and my
current house is wired to the max. I can even understand wanting to
geek out a car - I've got a home PC that was installed briefly in a
car as an MP3 player in the pre-iPod days.
But I love older cars for their simplicity. I -like- c

I might own a car with a PITA factory radio, but I draw the line
at stuff like wipers and heaters I can't control by feel. And
it would be nice if I could at least kill the radio instantly
if I need it quiet. I hope that doesn't make me a Luddite, but

I wish they'd offer a car with strictly analog controls. A basic car

will work without all the computers - especially the stuff like
heater, AC,
radio, defrost, etc - I know we'll never go back to having engines
(especially gas engines) without lots of computers to keep them
running, as

Does this mean that you need to access a touch-screen computer to turn
on the defroster?
