I did the water pump on the $500E300, I took out the radiator to have some room to work.  had to take the fan off too.  It wasn't a terribly bad job, just annoying to have to take out other stuff to get to the WP, which it turned out was OK, it was that stupid alternator clutch pulley.  Replace
