Steve, My recommendation would be to perform a valve adjustment and then a leak down test. If the issue is a burned valve, you will know it by the sound of air escaping through the intake or exhaust. It is rare for these motors to eat a piston to the point where you have zero compression, but

Steve, I agree with Mathieu, and you should also get another compression tester if you plan to use that test again. You're looking at a 34:1 compression ratio in the #2 jug, and I don't think that is what is really going on! If you dont have a leakdown tester, then maybe you can find an old
