I usually guess at it. My charger does have a storage charge setting, I don’t always have someone available to make sure it is on the right setting. If the battery takes an hour and a half to charge, I will just charge it 55 minutes or so. That usually works. Kevin in hillsboro, Oregon Sent

Now many of the hobby aircraft are run off Lion batteries though some hobbyists still use the fuel engines.  All the multi-copters (("drones") are because the electric power can be modulated to control the various rotors for speed, direction, etc. Scaling up is an issue... --FT On 8/15/19
