USPS here is perfect, I couldn't ask for better. I should ask our postman his
name, I usually refer to him as "The one eyed kid", you can probably guess why.
If there are packages he comes around in the morning with a truck. He walks the
route in the afternoon with the envelopes.

I had one put a box in my car once. Said they'd "Delivered to the front door" I
called UPS "He hasn't."
The lady says "Oh yes, you just go look at your front door and you'll find the
package."
"Lady, there's four feet of snow covering the path to my front door, you
couldn't open that door with
We get good service at both houses. In Florida stuff is delivered at the front
door, and if it’s USPS our carrier brings it up if it doesn’t fit in the
mailbox. For that matter, I can leave a note in the mailbox for her that I have
a Priority Mail pickup and she’ll come up and ring the bell to
USPS is a total crap shoot here. If it gets as close as a neighbor's house, I
consider myself fortunate.

Our Amazon drivers seem to be the best of the bunch around here - they
always leave the package where I specified - on the shelf beside the front
door. UPS and Fedex are all over the place, including once leaving my box
at the intersection between our street and the joining one - 400 feet from
our
I ordered some tools, checked the delivery status on Tuesday evening at
6:45PM, and it said "delivered to front porch at 8:10PM" - amazing ability
to predict the future, however, the package never arrived. This was DHL.
Got a refund and ordered from another vendor.

Amazon drivers tend towards the sketchier end of the spectrum, somewhere
near pizza drivers.
Anyway, before there were such a thing as Amazon drivers, I pulled the
mower into the garage to find an Amazon box on the floor. Turned out to
be addressed to the neighbor.
Their mailbox doesn't say
Yeah, that’s been a thing for some of the security automation for a while. I’ve
got a system (“MyQ”) I can monitor and control all of my garage doors both in
Florida and Flagstaff with and it has the ability to give Amazon and others a
one-time code to get in and drop off packages. I could see
The Large Wimmin drivers can deliver things to me inside my garage with my
garage door is closed. Some packages they deliver that way and some packages
they don’t. I was out in the driveway the other day messing around with the
garage door up, and the Amazon guy showed up and said he had a

I just checked on the delivery for a coil for the SL500, as the #2 coil puked
the other day and I couldn’t find a suitable replacement locally. It’s being
delivered by Amazon, and when I checked on the delivery status, I got a map
that showed it’s “7 stops away” with an interactive map showing
