Last weekend, I saw a nice silver 300D ripping down the road.   A couple days later I heard, then saw a Thing, still running.   That is unusual. BMWs:    A very nice /2   probably an R50/2 or a R60/2   You can't tell from the outside.  Beautiful, and correct.  It was running along US 90. Lotsa

Dealer trade-ins here that are too old or worn out even for the second-tier used dealers but worth more than scrap are often sent down to Mexico, I've heard. I don't know that an 8 year old MB would get that treatment, I guess it depends what shape it's in. Allan E M pokieba...@gmail.com

They sell hundreds, if not thousands of new mercedes here all the time. After about 6 years, they are nowhere to be seen. Where they all go, I have no idea. 140s were everywhere 10 years ago. Seldom see one today. They weren't run into the ground, it's more as if once cars reach 8 or so here,
