I hadn't heard that. I suppose I should have noticed, considering I'm one of the
Michigan taxpayers that they are suing.

Small detail, the university involved was OSU, not OU. I have no
sympathy for OU or NU... When I was in college, I don't think OU had
one player under 28 on the "collegiate" team. OSU, on the other hand
does not have the big bucks that OU has.

College coaching contracts are totally one-sided, because the people on one side

coach and I think he still gets $3.5M to walk away. Meanwhile the state
has a $488M shortfall and is spreading the misery around to the
universities and everywhere else, but I doubt if that will affect the
new coach's sal

You probably heard a few years ago that T. Boone Pickens, who chairs the hedge
fund BP Capital Management, gave Oklahoma State a $165 million donation to be
used all for helping the school's athletic program. And the largest portion of
it was going to be used to beef up
