Saw a '98 E300D with a for-sale sign in the window locally. Appeared
to be very well-kept inside and out. What's a good price for these?
Any particular problems to look out for besides the infamous spring
perches? (And are those still under permanent warranty by M-B, like
the cracked 107

In a word - no.
I suppose if you have spent enough at the dealer to finance a small country,
they might cover it. Us normal people are SOL.

secret warranty on the spring perches, and if you took your W210 in
to the dealer you could get them to replace bad ones no matter
