Your insurer covers you.
If blame is assigned, then the impactor's insurance will go toe to toe to
recoup the losses from the hitter's insurance.
There is some technical industry specific term for it...
Leastways that's how it happens in MD.

In no fault states, the way I understand it, each persons own insura
to get her ins. involved at all!
It's the other guy's liability, but if they can get out of some or all
of it, they'll be very happy to do so.
