Thanks. I think something similar is possible with the brake MC. if
it ever warms up I will try the bleeder test and see what happens. I
guess if no pressure at the MC and pressure at the hoses, then it is
hoses again.Pressure at MC would indicate MC it seems.

I've had a parked car get rusty disks and lock onto the parking brake shoes, but
that would only be the back brakes.

The one thing that comes to mind is if the piston in the master cylinder isn't
moving all of the way back (pedal all the way up) the drilling in the master
cylinder that lets fluid in from the reservoir doesn't get uncovered. This
prevents more fluid from getting in when the system is at rest,
Ate hoses, new last year. I think I will do the bleeder test next
spring/summer if it ever warms up again. I have never seen hoses go
bad evenly. one is always worse than the others in my experience.
