Check for a broken vac line to the ACC first -- up by the brake
booster, gray with red stripe? I'm not sure on the W126 chassis. No
vac supply will produce defrost only. Typical failure is a split check
valve.
Get a MitiVac hand pump, absolutely

I am contemplating trying a couple of repairs and need some [hopefully]
rather basic directions.
Issue #1 My AC has gone to 'safe mode' and only puts air on the windscreen.
At 26 years old it is hard to fault anything like that when it goes out, but
just having put in a rebuilt transmission
access the units. Is this something that can be done by someone with

than average tools and experience?
