Many people who don't own 6.9s or LWBs want 15" bundts, and
they greatly outnumber the 6.9 parts cars.

i never saw you get a full answer to this; it may be that it's just
too many questions in one e-mail for any one person to answer.
FWIW, looking in the manual for our '85 300D, i see the size listed
for its wheels are 6 J x 14 H 2. i don't see any optional sizes listed.
