posting; Outlook, SquirrelMail, and even my old Netscape Mail all default

works for me; i much prefer having the relevant new information right
at the top when i open an e-mail. if i need more background, i

bottom. It only takes a cut and paste from your favorite end of the

Once your memory is maybe not so good anymore, having the contextual
reminder _first_
How about the fact that most email programs automatically make you
bottom post. We top posters
are more willing to go the extra mile and scroll back up.
We have the time and we have the technology to top post.

Gmail automatically sets up a top posting format, and then tabs the
responses to show snippets of the successive top posted responses to the
original post--very easy to navigate. It also acts as a rather nice
searchable
mine does...it's called Thunderbird!

MS Outlook Express defaults to top-posting. I usually associate it with
the not-terribly-computer literate, for that
