[MBZ] Glow plug question

On my OM 517 engine I tested the glow plugs. No preglow indicater light. The Manual calls for 8 - 15 A per plug. I measured the resistance at the 6-pin connector: #1 indicates open, #2 - 5 measure 95 Ohm each 13V / 95 Ohm = 0.14 A (1/10th of spec) What am I doing wrong? -- Hans Neureiter, Katy

Now I am confused. Fuse # 11 was blue and blew after a few hours several times. I replaced it with a red one, thinking it was higher. Wrong indeed but it lasted much longer. The Aux fan is on it's own fuse (# c - 16A PK) I just found out So I am pretty sure the culprit is the blower or its resistor
