Thanks to Eva and Michael for information. There are a lot of PHP resources
available on the web.
I was specifically hoping for a listserv dedicated to PHP...I'll keep
searching.

I have been looking the paradigmasoft website for information about

Anyone on this list have any experience using their XCMD (on either/both
Win and Mac) with MetaCard?

There is not a server, just a bunch of machines networked together

So the application's files are

Not being very experienced at Mac, I wondered if any of you that work with

I'm trying to add some 'background' music to an application and I would

In MetaCard (on Windows) you use the mciSendString() function to send

I would like to compare the current date to some future date, say 12/31/34.
But MetaCard evaluates the following
the date < 12/31/34
as False...?
It doesn't seem to be doing a strict string compare, because it evaluates
"10/1/01" < "12/31/34"
as True (which you would expect wit

Good idea, Sjoerd.
I tried flushEvents() without success.
Additional information:
In playing more with this, I've found the following:
1) You don't have to hold the mouse down to get the double mouseDown
message sent. A single click will do it.
2) You don't get this behavior if the field is empty

While there are no hard and fast rules for XML, here are some guidelines

Hi,
Once you set a password for a stack, you have to enter that password to
view/modify scripts each time you open the stack.
Is it possible to permanently "un-password" the stack so that you don't
have to enter it every time? or is the password permanent?

Hi all,
Does anyone know of a way to direct a function call to a specific object

Something like "put the myFunction() of stack myStack into foo".
I've got a specialized substack, and I need to call a function in there
from a stack higher up the message hierarchy.
