Hi all. Thanks for the plug there Mike! Actually, as the person who runs
the IMCA, I've already acted on this one but have yet to get a result. Jim

been in private contact with Matteo. I emailed him today and told him tha

The best thing for the knowledgeable collector is that these people will not
be allowed into IMCA. With time and a little effort, IMCA will become a
valuable asset to collectors world wide and make it more difficult for these

Hello Matteo and List,

certainly does not accord themselves as an educated person. Sticking with
fact and not "flowery" language, proves one's point. The louder and more

Matteo and List Members,
It seems to me that the logical thing to do would be to purchase a piece of

send it to a reputable lab to have it tested. This would give some
finality to the current issue.

I would be happy to, I have never been to a crater before so it sounds like
fun. I might have a chance to search it in the summer if it is nearby. Does
anyone have a good map of the area showing where the crater is, roads,
nearby towns, where the 'meteorites' are found etc?

Hello all
Thanks to all you for the support that you have given
to me for this thing, when it is right that a person
comes " punished " why has to offend a person
uselessly that it asked information. Ebay has answered

EVERYONE that sells on Ebay needs to complain about items like this:

Please take 5 minutes and write ebay. Ever had someone get that smirk on
their face when you say you sell on Ebay? THIS IS WHY.
I realize this is off topic, but
I am beginning the process of arranging a new expedition for the first time.
Anyone out there have any ideas or hints? I'll be searching in the
California desert in the USA. I would really like to find some pallisites,
they are deffinately the most interesting. Thank you.

Hello All!
I've just imported the 281 US-Antarctic meteorites contained in AMN

I haven't had time to look it up but since the Catalogue of Meteorites

Dear Listees:
Can anyone on this list provide info on the recovery date and TKW for NWA 531

I'm a bit confused. I haven't been able to find anything on NWA's in the

And in Jensen's book "Meteorites from A to Z", on page 131 there is the

The tragic US Army copter crash (which left no survivors) was witnessed
by fishermen about a mile or two from the crash site. I find it very odd
