MONTROSE -- A meteor that lit up the night sky Nov. 28 may have
weighed up to a ton and broken up over western Colorado,
well I would like to.. where is it. sorry for bad
typing.. had surgery on hand and is bound with a splint. only typing with 2
fingers lol

Thanks for the answers on the "African Moldavite". I was sure
confused because no book or websource indicated Africa for moldavite except
these sellers. So, I did some more looking and found this to
compare:
Moldavite-It occurs in black or green, and offers a refractive
index of 1.25-1.59.
I should have added obsidian to my list for
comparisons:
Color is dark green to dark brown and black, also can show sheens
of gold or green, yellow, blue and/or purple coloration. Sometimes with white
inclusions (Snowflake Obsidian).
Luster is vitreous.
Transparency: Obsidian is
