Hi Steve,
take a tip from an old computer guy anddrop
the font size of your signature.
Where I come from anything in caps is SHOUTING and
your signature is the equivalent of a SCREAM. Maybe with the new attitude and a toned down signature you can find a
more comfortable space on the list.
Good morning list. I have heard from several people about some of my loudness, as far as I type my words. I redid my url ending. From now on no more shouting when emailing. But you should hear me in person. Also just a side bar to something different. When I aquired my kilabo piece, I also aquired

Dear Mohamed,
you are not getting the point. I think most people will tolorate your posts,
but they would like to see you send some of your materal to a qualified
scientist to get it analized. You can show all the pictures you want, but that
will not make it a meteorite. Get it tested.

Hi Martin and Bjørn,
It goes without saying (but I'll say it all the same :-) that some holes could be from
ice fishing, though there should be some signs of foot prints and so forth. Also could
blue ice break through from airliners? I would think natural causes would be more in
number than
Hi Al,
In the Atwater case (Lake Tadd) it is situated almost inside the town, with
built-
up area on the shores, so I would think the inhabitants would have known
if anyone were icefishing in the days leading up to the 17th.
Also it had a very beautiful 'starburst' cracking pattern around it.
Just want to assure everyone that the show is on
track! Main Avenue rock shop storage areas are filling up with
round cartons and wooden crates. Semi trucks are being
unloaded. The V Rock Shop had many crates open two weeks ago facing
the street and there were scores of beautiful large amethyst
Hi All,
As I already told to Bjørn off the list, here in Finland there is almost
every winter news about strange holes on ice. Sized can vary a lot and in
some cases there is many holes. In January 2001 there was three cases, one
of which was discussed in this list too. That case was studied last

They certainly looked weathered enough for GBs.
As Bob Verish has so adeptly pointed out, not all GB's are the same.

Listees,
The ice hole mystery can be a perplexing one. Another idea that should
not be overlooked is that the area is either geothermal or methane in
nature, can be percolating through vents in the floor of the lake,
bubbling up, and causing the ice to fracture from below. The idea of
methane

Hello List Members,
I am betting that NWA 998 has a different ejection date and crystallization
age than the other five Nakhlites. The isotope data is proving to be very
interesting and was announced at the 65th Meteoritical Society meeting.

Tagish Lake is scientifically important because of its primitive chemistry

Of course David Weir has a superb summary of the circumstances surrounding
the fall and the meteorite's scientific importance..

I most gratefully stand corrected.
