Hi there, has anyone already read already the new book: Atlas of Meteorites, by Pratesi, Cecchi, Grady ? Cambridge University Press (ISBN 9780521840354) How is it? Description reads very promising. The Atlas of Meteorites is a complete visual reference for meteorite classification.

The 1985 edition of the Catalogue Of Meteorites lists the fall of the Ensisheim as November 16, 1492. Other sources give November 7, 1492. I assume the November 7th date is the old Julian Calendar date. As very few meteorites have an older date it would be nice if catalogues would be more
