Hello, I am proud to announce a new french meteorite. It have been found in late july by a geologist, looking for fossils with his wife, not so far from the town I live (Besançon), and about 20km of Ornans. After the famous 1868 fall, this is the second meteorite from Franche-Comté region. T

Me and Alain Carion are proud to announce the existence of a "new" french meteorite. The meteorite of Saint-Ouen-en-Champagne fell September 29, 1799 near Le Mans (west of France). A farmer saw a stone falling in front of him while he was collecting grain. The stone was certainly broken apart. It
