seen over Denmark on the 25th of January. A bit closer to home, I'm

Beijing - An unidentified flying object, or UFO, passed across the large
north-western Chinese city of Lanzhou and apparently exploded in the
Hello list, I walked out my front door a couple of nights ago and saw a huge
red streak about parallel to the horizon. It was bright red and fast. This
thing was huge, not anything like any fireball I had ever seen. I passed it
off as some kind of reflection or something, maybe I was seeing

Just curious if any news of a fireball or meteorite was reported for south
central Kentucky yesterday (Nov 24).
I was driving west on the Cumberland Pkwy and at 17:56 I saw a fireball,

It's 2305 or so I'm outside with my astronomer friend using my new 10" Dob
and we both saw an odd phenomenon in the sky - to the right of Jupiter -
towards the west - it appeared as a yellowish white truncated
(foreshortened?) cone reducing rapidly in size to nothing.
