I have a lentiviral system working in my lab (pInducer), my PI wants
to know if we could use a pBabe based vector as well. pBabe
apparently has MMLV based LTR instead of HIV. My question is
whether the packaging constructs I have for lentiviruses will work
for MMLV?

I have some cells fixed in 4% formalin (neutral I believe). I was wondering
if anyone has tried any RNA extraction on such cell/tissue samples, and if
you have any wisdom including kits, tricks, solutions, problems that you'd
share with me. I would appreciate it hugely.
