Something that short you may want to look at using a Tranzeo TR-SL5-16f
radio. The new firmware allows it to run in AP and PtP mode. Plus they
just dropped the prices on them. I have one setup and it works great at
a short distance.

Oops, wrong subject.
I am going to be setting up a very short range (think 300ft) 5.2GHz
link. Do you think I would have any problem using a 5.8GHz grid for this
purpose? I have several 27dBi grids in stock and I want to save some of
the install cost.
