Hi,
I wonder if it is possible to process failed delivery notices with
MIMEDefang? This is what happens on my server:
1. A workstation on the LAN sends out an email through our email server. Our
email server uses MIMEDefang to process all email messages.
2. The remote SMTP server did no

I am having some problems first of all i followed the instructions for an install on freebsd and when i get to the MIMEDefang includes a configuration file for its SpamAssassin calls: /usr/local/etc/mimedefang/spamassassin/sa-mimedefang.cf
Well the /spamassassin/sa-mimedefang.cf is not there. the
Hi all,
I just upgraded to 2.44 and as per the Changelog went into my
mimedefang-filter and commented out
the calls to "entity_contains_virus" and "message_contains_virus,"
except for the following call that also
exists in the mimedefang-filter-example:
sub filter_begin ()
# Scan for viruses
Been reading some on this (still reading) and trying to decide what is what.
Situation is that I want to skip md entirely (virus checking, spamassassin,
everything) for a single domain out of many.
My first thought was possibly doing a sub filter_recipient and matching
against the domain. From wha
Thaks for the info. I will try modifying the script to add a custom header
and stop filtering for this header.

It is a sendmail issue. You should make your scanning/relay
host accept mail for

You are gorave.net not gorav.net, right?
Are you sending to the wrong list? This one is about Mimedefang.

I am trying to setup a mail server who will forward all the incoming
mail to MS excange server after virus and spam check and outbound mail
will come from MS exchage server to my mail server and then go out. I am
getting following error message:

Hi all,
Look at the following header information. THe user got this mail but it
was never sent by one internal user (harv) to SAMMY. They also said that
it contained virus. Now I think that this mail was generated from
jillian.org.
Now what all can I diagnose from this. How the mail is generated f

I would try looking at the bayes db file types. SA upgrade in that range you
specified had some bayes db changes.
Running sa-learn -C /usr/local/etc/mimedefang
