On first run and exit from X, I have 'Segmentation fault (core dumped)'
(xauth.core).
On all following startx command - window manager unable connect to X
server, while '.Xauthority' file are present in '~/' (home) dir.
Can anyone help me to fix this problem?

Hi,
I am running spamd/obsd 4.5 on a bridge using the i386 kernel.
Is there a limit to the size a spamd blacklist may reach?
Can one estimate the impact on performance if any of adding
a new blacklist of say 100 IP addresses?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Jose.

I am trying to compile freetds-stable with iodbc and used the following
env CPPFLAGS="-I/usr/local/include" LDFLAGS="-L/usr/local/lib"
./configure --with-iodbc --disable-threadsafe
Even though isql.h is in /usr/local/include I get the error saying
isql.h not found.
How can I resolve this? (

Hello everyone,
I'm using OpenBSD as a guest system with qemu, and currently I'm unable
to get network working. As far as I can say, the problem is not in my
qemu setup, since I've also tried LFS Linux LiveCD as a guest and it
worked fine (see below).

Speaking of outstanding documentation in the form of manual pages, why
do the preformatted GNU man pages have a right margin of ~66 characters,
while the BSD ones render nicely at about 80 characters? How would I
proceed to slap some "GNU" sense into the offending pages?

Ok, this is probably obvious but for some reason I am not coming
up with an answer to this. I have tried google and what man pages
that I could think up to look at so if there is a man page with this
info or a google search that provides an answer please point me in

Holger, we should adhere to KISS principle.
So, pf rulesets are fine like they are if they are working as expected,
and this is our case. If you're missing some warning feature maybe you
would try to write an aux app -` la lint for C- that could parse a
pf.conf and look for suspect behaviour.
hi,
i am trying to use logsurfer (package or ports) on a 4.5 amd64 (which is really
a Pentium E2220) and this thing keeps core dumping on me.
if i try the same version (openbsd/logsurfer) but the i386 architecture is does
work wonders.
does anyone know what is wrong?
thanks.
