I think this is due to ESXi setup with virtual switch.
workstation does'nt have this feature (I think)...
I 'm not sure but it is the only reason I guess about that.

general directive 'log all' writes the client_ip - actual_web_server_ip in
file /var/log/daemon which is enough but that file rotates to quickly and I do
