An appeal to the Gods of OpenBSD! Let me write up
front that I am most grateful for all that the OpenBSD
project has done.
Some friends of mine need a backup solution that can
easily handle regular, automated backups from some M$
Win 2k and Linux workstations as well as an OpenBSD
3.8 based Samba
Chris, I haven't tried it yet on my OpenBSD 3.8 Dell
laptop, but there is a write up about using it with
Linux
(http://www.linux.com/article.pl?sid=06/03/08/2138237)
so perhaps it can be used on OpenBSD via the linux
emulation?

extremely smooth and a terrific experience. I'd used
Linux and then FreeBSD for years, but setting up X was
the easiest ever and I have not had a single glitch of
any sort yet (that wasn't due to my own ignorance). I
run Fluxbox on my 3 yr

2) I also put Snort on OpenBSD in front of the boxes
to add a layer of security. Snort 2 has support for
filtering/blocking specific sql statements, etc. and
is a terrific way to add a powerful layer of security.
