[Mjpeg-users] Questions about motion detection & interleaving

I have a question about the nature of the -4 and -2 options to mpeg2enc. As far as I know, setting them to their maximum value of 1 basically throws more CPU time at motion detection, and thus how much of the current frame can be copied from previous frames. Is it necessary to do that in order to

Hi, when i try to watch the video source that comes from my DC10+ with xawtv-3.83 (just downloaded it, 3.76 didn't work either) i only see a mixture of green/violet. The settings (composite, PAL, overlay) seem correct to me. I use the zr36067 that came with my 2.4.19 kernel. Any settings i change
