yeah that what I am trying to do. I have the GLIB development packages that include GLIB, GTK, and PKGCONFIG. I have been able to install PKGCONFIG which is required to install GLIB. But I get errors when trying to compile (ie make) GLIB. The compiler says that it cannot recognize "-pthreads". But
