Hi!
In the german translation in the Oregon "water features" is translated
with "Gewässerarten", i.e. "water types". I do not know whether this is
the correct translation for "water features" but if, island should IMHO
be a land feature not a water feature.

You cannot search just for campsites in your vista. You can search for
lodging and all POIS with 0x2bn with 0<=n<=2f are then shown.
The difference is that 2b05 gets the bed-icon in the vista and the

Hi!
Although a camp_site that has 2b03 gets a tent icon in the Garmin Oregon
450 (Software 3.52 beta) it cannot be searched via the Lodging menu. The
Oregon searches camp_sites under the number 2b05.

Hi Steve,
I reviewed the corresponding mkgmap files again, heading to implement
getOutputDir(). This approach would create a central place where
- the directory is read or set to DEFAULT_DIR
- the pathname is tested for presence
- the directory is created (if not existing)

Hi,
In the default styles, mkgmap has some routing problems with roads that are
temporarily closed with the tag "access=no" For instance, this problem can
occur on cycleways which are closed to all traffic (bicycles as well) because
of road reconstructions. In the default style the handling is
