Well it's about 30 seconds to get the current behavior. You simply go
into the polygons file, and exchange all "]" with "command ]"

I'm using r1860 of the index branch for my public map download. So
far, I've seen no crash reports both on mapsource and basecamp and my
unit. I think this is good enough for the beginner's tool version.
IMO, this is a good release to introduce beginners to the new
search/index feature.
