- it was a student project based on the old official Wikipedia app
(which used Phonegap); I assume these volunteers are no longer active
but am not certain if that answers the questions ;)

Recently we got a support request on our Android mobile OTRS queue[1] with
the question, if the Wiktionary App[2] receives any updates in the future
(like the Wikipedia app, or at least "some" updates). I looked into
